Nokia is preparing the launch of its Windows Phone handsets on the market in China tomorrow, when both Lumia 710 and Lumia 800 will make an official debut in the country.

Nokia has already confirmed plans to launch the smartphones on the local market on that day, but hasn’t provided specific info on the carriers that could launch them, nor on the price tags these phones would sport.

However, some of the latest rumors on the matter suggest that China Telecom will be the exclusive carrier for Lumia 800 for the first 30 days of availability.

A recent article on WPDang.com claims to have knowledge of Nokia’s plans on the Lumia 800 for the Chinese market, and that it signed one of the rare exclusivity deals for its release on China Telecom’s network.

The official launch event will take place in Beijing tomorrow, March 28th 2012, and all the necessary details on this and on the availability of Lumia 710 in the country will be unveiled.

In addition to detailing these unconfirmed plans on Lumia 800’s exclusivity, WPDang.com also notes that the device will be cheaper at launch than originally expected.

The smartphone is mentioned with a price tag of 3,699 yuan ($587 or €440) on this website, while being listed for as low as 3,180 yuan ($505, €379) in Sina’s Tech online channel.

In China, Lumia 800 will sport a localized Windows Phone operating system on board, along with support for China Telecom’s CDMA network.

Users will be able to enjoy the same 3.7-inch screen as on the original, along with the 1.4GHz application processor inside the device, and its 16GB of internal memory.

Moreover, the mobile phone packs an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for video recording, and a variety of connectivity capabilities.
