Lumia 735 is finally making its way to Verizon after multiple delays. The smartphone was expected to arrive at the Big Red in late 2014, but the carrier has decided against it for some reason.

The smartphone continued to be postponed for almost six months, but now it looks like Verizon is determined to add the Lumia 735 to its portfolio of Windows Phone handsets, which also includes the LG Lancet that has just been released.

Although the carrier has yet to confirm the upcoming release of Lumia 735, the folks over at WindowsCentral have just been tipped by a source that preferred to remain anonymous on the launch of the said smartphone.

According to an internal document coming directly from Verizon, the Lumia 735 should be launched on June 11.

Since we've been reporting about the imminent release of the smartphone at Verizon in the past, we recommend our readers to take the information with a grain of salt.

No word on pricing options yet

The Big Red has a long track of “confirmed” released dates that proved to be inaccurate because the carrier has decided to postpone the launch of its devices.

The good news is that we're less than two weeks away from the supposed Lumia 735 release date at Verizon, so we can just wait and see if the document leaked gets it right.

Unfortunately, the internal document has no mention of pricing options, so we don't know how much the smartphone will cost.

However, we do know Verizon Lumia 735 will ship with Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 right out of the box. We also believe the smartphone is likely to receive the Windows 10 upgrade when Microsoft makes it available.

If you've been waiting all this time for Verizon to add the Lumia 735 to its network, then be glad that you won't have to wait too long now.
