One of the smartphones that Microsoft Mobile (formerly Nokia’s Devices and Services division) has been rumored to bring to the market before the end of this year is the Lumia 530, and the phone appears to have already received certification in Thailand.

A certain Nokia RM-1020 smartphone has been spotted in the country, and with the model number already associated with the Lumia 530, rumor has it that we’re indeed looking at the next cheapest Lumia handset out there getting ready for launch.

Furthermore, the mobile phone might have emerged at the FCC as well, with model number RM-1018 attached, and with support for 3G networks, along with the usual Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS included.

Lumia 530 has been rumored to arrive on the market with a 4-inch or larger display, and the RM-1018 appears to fall in line with this, as it is 62.3mm in wide and 119.7 mm tall, as Nokiapoweruser points out.

According to them, this handset could be the T-Mobile version of the Lumia 530, though no official confirmation on the matter has been provided as of now.

The RM-1020, however, has also been spotted in the AdDuplex database with a touchscreen display capable of delivering an 854 x 480 pixels resolution.
