Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is offering the Lumia 1020 smartphone for Rs 13,500 ($214/€159) less in India as part of a newly launched buyback program.

Users interested in the purchase of this device will be able to grab it at only Rs 36,499 ($580/€429), down from Rs 49,999 ($795/€588) at launch, as long as they bring along an old device.

“Save up to Rs.13,500 on buying #NokiaLumia1020 in exchange of your old phone. How will spend it? Get now,” Nokia India announced on Twitter.

As BGR-in notes, the deal might seem very appealing, though it is not the best out there. Retailers in India are already selling the smartphone much cheaper than Nokia.

Those who would like to grab the smartphone from Nokia should head over to this page on the company’s website to learn more on how they can make the purchase.
