Mobile phone users in Canada interested in the purchase of the new Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphone should be able to get one starting with October, the latest reports on the matter suggest.

According to MobileSyrup, the 41-megapixel Windows Phone 8 device is set to land on shelves at this wireless carrier on that day, and will be available exclusively on its network.

No further details on the matter have been provided as of now, but it might not be too long before we know when exactly the phone will hit shelves at the company, at which price, and in what color.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Lumia 1020 arrives on the market with a 4.5-inch touchscreen display, a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus CPU, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal memory.

It also sports the aforementioned 41MP camera, a front sensor for video calling, and a 2000mAh battery inside.
