Ever since the world learned that Hector Xavier Monsegur – known on the hacking scene as Sabu, the leader of the LulzSec collective – ratted out his fellow hackers to the FBI, many hacktivists are cautious about who they team up with.

Some Anonymous hackers suspect that Sabu is not the only member of LulzSec to collaborate with authorities.

On Wednesday, we learned that LulzSec hacker Ryan Cleary, aged 21, would be released from jail soon, despite the fact that investigators found child abuse images on his computer.

For the illegal images, the judge sentenced Cleary to serve community orders and banned him from working with children, or contacting youths under 16 on the Internet.

“Anyone who gets away with [such] charges is obviously collaborating with the feds,” one reputable member of the Anonymous movement wrote on Twitter, citing an article from CyberGuerilla.org.
