Raynaldo Rivera, 21, of Tempe, Arizona, has been sentenced to 1 year in prison, 13 months of house arrest, and 1,000 hours of community service for hacking into the computers of Sony Pictures Entertainment and leaking the personal details of 138,000 individuals.

In addition, Rivera – known on the hacking scene as “neuron,” “wildicv” and “royal” – will have to pay $605,663 (€452,000) in restitution, The Associated Press informs.

The man, a member of the LulzSec group, turned himself in back in August 2012 after he was indicted.

In October 2012, he pleaded guilty to hacking Sony Pictures Entertainment and admitted being a member of LulzSec.

In April this year, another LulzSec hacker who admitted taking part in the attacks against Sony, Cody Kretsinger, was handed out a similar sentence.
