Coolers seem to be coming out a lot these days, prompted by the latest CPUs and APUs from Intel and AMD.

One of those makers of CPU and VGA coolers, Deepcool, definitely isn't slacking.

In fact, the company has completed the Lucifer, part of the Gamer Storm product line.

It can cool CPUs even without fans, but can hold a spinner if the chip is really demanding. It depends on the TDP really. The maximum that can be handled is 300W, well beyond what most current-generation chips attain.

Lucifer uses 6 asymmetrical heatpipes, a copper base and, when installed, the 140 mm bundled fan.

As for the heatsink, it has a massive surface and a gap between the fins.

Here is the list of supported CPUs/APUs: Intel LGA2011/1366/1155/1156/775 and AMD FM2/FM1/AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2.

Sales will start next month (August 2013), for $60 / €45.48.
