LucidLogix has just launched version 2.1.223 of their Virtu MVP Desktop Edition GPU Virtualization driver. The new release offers fully supported guest account although the installation cannot be performed without administrator rights.

The “Restore to default” button on Chinese Simplified Windows has been fixed as well as the Turkish windows Control Panel issue.

Known problems with this driver include Printer Spooler service stopping when MVP is installed, incompatibility with the AMD Catalyst 13.01 driver or random minor artifacts that may appear in some games.

3DMark11 old version may crash on load on Windows 8 and 3DMark06 default settings may show no performance gain with HyperFormance feature, due to high CPU load of the application.

If you turn on HyperFormance and get no improvements, have no fear. This is also a known issue with this driver. According to LucidLogix's Virtu MVP release notes, this problem may occur at some point.

The supported operating systems are only Windows 7 and Windows 8 on either 32 or 64 bit architecture. Virtu MVP works with Nvidia cards GF/GTX 4xx/5xx/6xx series, AMD HD5xxx/HD6xxx/HD7xxx series, supports all Intel, NVIDIA or AMD WHQL drivers and DirectX 9/10/10.1/11/11.1 graphic libraries.

Below are the download links. Download either the 32-bit or the 64-bit version, install it and stay “updated one minute ago.”
