LucasFilm has registered a number of new Internet domains that could be linked to a new video game in the very wide ranging Star Wars universe.

StarWarsIdentities.com, StarWarsIdentites.com and sw-id.com have been recently registered and it seems that LucasArts is creating a game which will use the theme.

A number of developers were hired last year for a new game and LucasArts has made it clear that it plans to continue making games set in the universe, although it has not revealed which time period it will tackle.

On December 20 developer BioWare and publisher Electronic Arts will launch the Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO, which takes place thousands of years before the events of the movie trilogy.

The Identity concept might mean that players will get to play a lost Jedi, maybe one who has managed to survive Order 66 and is now trying to discover who he was during the Clone Wars timeline.
