The GF140 spins at 700 to 1,200 RPM and is whisper-quiet

The fans that case / cooler makers bother issuing press releases about always have PWM support, allowing the motherboard to control them, or you yourself to control their speed through software like SpeedFan.

As you might have guessed, the newest fan released by DeepCool holds true to this trend.

Called GF140, it has a diameter of 140 mm (something easily enough deduced from the name) and a variable speed of 700 to 1,200 RPM (rotations per minute).

Thanks to its fluid-dynamic bearing motor, the speed and size allow it to push up to 71.8 CFM of air, a significant volume without being overkill.

Consequently, it can be fairly silent when not going too fast (17.6 dBA) or a bit louder than a whisper (26.7 dBA).

The fan ships with silicon inserts on the edges of the octagonal frame, as well as silicon bolts so that it may firmly attach to the side, front or back panel of whatever case buyers own.

Pricing and availability details are, sadly, unavailable, but that situation should not last overly long. DeepCool will want to provide its buyers with the easily cleanable fan as soon as possible (it even has a detachable impeller for easy dusting).
