A man taking three people hostage in a bank in Louisiana had mental issues, law enforcement officials say.

According to a statement made by State Police Colonel Mike Edmondson and conveyed by Fox News, Fuaed Abdo Ahmed may have been acting out a plan for revenge.

He has a plan on paper detailing what he was about to do, but there is no information on what had been written on it.

Edmondson mentions Ahmed trying to fight back against abuse, potentially by his hostages. He let one out early yesterday, but shot the other two. As I wrote earlier, only one survived the attack.

Ahmed had a note on him "detailing exactly what he was going to do. [...] He was mad at people that he said were mean to him. [...] He had voices in his head," Edmondson says.
