Internet users are advised to be on the lookout for bogus emails that claim they’ve won a large amount of money in the “Free Casino Lottery.”

The emails are entitled “Congratulation you won” and they read something like this:

“This is to notify you that this e-mail address was chosen during the Free Casino Lottery European selection Draw hold here in the Netherlands has won YOU the sum of 1,200.000.00 Euros, to claim your winnings Funds contact your winning agent at FREE CASINO AGENCY N.L.”

Recipients are asked to send their name, address, country, phone number and other information to a certain email address.

Once they respond, victims are instructed to provide more personal information, along with various amounts of money that are allegedly needed to complete the transaction of the prize.

There is no such thing as the Free Casino Lottery, so if you come across such emails, ignore them.
