Samsung is currently showcasing, during the IFA 2008 fair held in Berlin, Germany (August 29 –September 3), more than ten new mobile phones. The models presented by the South Korean manufacturer include: Samsung D980 Duos, Samsung S7330, Samsung M3510, Samsung M200, Samsung M150, Samsung B510, Samsung B300, Samsung B2700, Samsung E215 and Samsung P180.

Of course, not all these handsets are seen now for the first time. Only five of them are novelties: E215, M200, B130, B210 and P180.

However, the most interesting of them all is the M3510, apparently called Samsung M3510 Beat. First spotted at the beginning of July, the M3510 is a music-oriented phone and it's said to be Samsung's first handset to feature shake control. Moreover, the M3510 comes with dedicated music keys, a 240 x 320 pixel TFT display, a 2 Megapixel camera and quad-band GSM connectivity with GPRS and EDGE.

Let's see now what the completely new handsets have to offer.

Samsung M200 is a candybar that features quad-band GSM connectivity (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) with GPRS only, a 1.3 Megapixel camera, Music player, FM radio, 32MB of internal memory and microSD card support.

Samsung E215 is a clamshell that measures 91 x 45 x 18 millimeters (when closed) and also features quad-band GSM connectivity with GPRS, Bluetooth, FM radio with RDS, Music player, a 128 x 160 pixel internal display (with 262K colors), a VGA photo camera and 19MB of internal memory, expandable to up to 2GB with a microSD card.

Another clamshell is Samsung P180, which comes with Wi-Fi, quad-band GSM / GPRS connectivity, email, Web browser, Music player, SMS and MMS capabilities, a VGA camera and 14MB of expandable memory.

Samsung B210 is a basic candybar that measures 110 x 44 x 12 millimeters, weighs 80 grams and features the following: a 128 x 160 pixel display with 65K colors, dual-band GSM connectivity, Music player, stereo FM radio, text messaging, alarm clock, calculator and so on.

Samsung B130 is another basic candybar that offers a square 128 x 128 pixel display, dual-band GSM connectivity, SMS capabilities, handsfree and more. The phone measures 104 x 44 x 16 millimeters and weighs only 68 grams.

All the new Samsung handsets should become available in the next few months, but for the moment none of them have an exact release date.
