14 DAY TRIAL // A great day for “Lost Planet 3” players. From now on, a multitude of add-on content will be available for purchase consisting of six new multilayer maps that are branched into three two-map packs. Also, all the previous content that was only available as pre-order incentives can now be bought.
The first Map Pack brings the player to Octogon and Spire. In the first scenario, NEVEC and the Snow Pirates fight to gain control over an underground military base while in Spire, they battle for a key strategic location placed high above the ground.
The second pack introduces the gamer to Synapse and Inferno. In the first one, NEVEC and the Snow Pirates face the gruesome Akrid from the Nushi interior, so that they can take the Thermal Energy canister.
On the other hand, Inferno places them in a vertical field positioned in Pickett's Folly, where they must overcome numerous dangers, to retrieve and secure the dispersed Thermal Energy.
The third Map Pack takes NEVEC to Convoy Chasm and then to Siege. In Convoy, NEVEC's mission is to escort a battle cat that holds extremely important secrets, through a dangerous mountain pass.
In Siege, NEVEC and the Snow Pirates come to fight over a particular military base that is vital to NEVEC's operations. As the pirates, the player's goal is to gain control over the Thermal Energy and secure it at all costs while as NEVEC, one must secure the base.
The Freedom Fighter Pack promises the gamer five playable characters for multilayer mode while the Punisher Pack, offers a variety of advanced gadgets: incinerator (Particle Thrower Variant), NEVEC Punisher (Pulse Rifle) and Spit-Fire ( Grenade Launcher Variant).
The last but not least, is the Assault Pack. This pack delivers an assault Shotgun, a customized Pneumatic Injector Gun and a Destructeur (LaRoche's Assault Rifle). These are devices that have been improved, therefore doing more damage to your enemies.
Each Map Pack can be ordered at the price of $4.99/€3.69 except for the Freedom Fighter Pack, Punisher and Assault Pack that are available at the price of $2.99/€ 2.21.
Another pack called the Survival Pack is available, containing all the last three packs at the price of $4.99/€3.69.
