Capcom is continuing to release lots of trailers with its upcoming titles and has now showed off Lost Planet 3, its new shooter, through a special 16-minute long gameplay video.
The first two Lost Planet games impressed through their settings but, at least in terms of gameplay, there weren’t a lot of standout mechanics.
With the upcoming third installment, Capcom, together with U.S.-based developer Spark Unlimited, is trying to get back to basics by making it a prequel to the first two titles, while focusing more on the story.
We have already got to
try out the shooter at Gamescom 2012 and now the Japanese company has revealed a video with the demo that was showcased at the German convention.
Besides actual gameplay, the footage also features commentary from the producer, Andrew Szymanski, and the creator of the series, Kenji Oguro.
Lost Planet 3 is out at the beginning of 2013.
