CI Games has announced that the long-awaited Ancient Labyrinth downloadable content pack for Lords of the Fallen is coming at the beginning of March.

The expansions pack further builds upon the existing characters and lore, extending the storyline and enabling fans of the original action role-playing game to engage in new challenging adventures.

Ancient Labyrinth allows gamers to get new weapons, armor and shields, and to fight never-before-seen enemies in order to destroy the evil that put all civilization in jeopardy.

Players will be able to explore the fresh and uncharted wilds of the new area, and discover untold secrets, scattered about, in every dark corner of the Ancient Labyrinth.

You'll be able to take protagonist Harkyn to a long-forgotten library, situated somewhere between the human and demonic realms.

The game came out at the end of October, and if you're interested to find out more about it, you can check out our review of Lords of the Fallen.

For many, the biggest challenge was getting the game to work

It had quite a lot of issues, especially technical ones, which resulted in many people complaining about its performance, especially on PC. In addition to this, gamers also faced game-breaking bugs occasionally.

The DLC pack was postponed from its previous January release schedule due to the fact that CI Games and Deck 13 wanted to fix some of the most criticized issues that gamers were facing.

Lords of the Fallen: Ancient Labyrinth is launching for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on March 3 in Europe and March 4 in North America.

CI Games and Deck 13 have announced working on a sequel to the game, but for the time being, the project is in its early stages of development. The developers also promised to continue supporting the game, in order to patch all the bugs and glitches that affect the game.
