New feature for Blogger

Let's say you are a blog reader and you want to find additional blogs with same topics as your own. How can you search for them beside going to Google and typing the desired keyword? Well, the Mountain View company Google found the perfect solution and implemented a special feature into the famous blogging service Blogger to allow you to do that. Basically, you can check someone's profile to view his main interests and, by clicking on a certain term, you can find other blogs with same settings. For example, let's suppose you're looking for the ones writing about sex. Go over to your profile, add the term "sex" to your interests and then click on it. You should be able to see other bloggers who wrote about this matter and read their pages.

"Now you can go to any Blogger profile page (start with your own, or perhaps another popular blogger's) and follow any of the links on the page to get list of other bloggers with the same industry, occupation, location, interest, or favorite book, movie, or music. The Browse Profile results are tuned to show you people who have recently updated their blogs at the top, so you can find blogs with fresh posts," the Blogger team wrote today.

If you didn't fill your profile, you should do it now to contribute to this new feature's evolution, by clicking on the "Edit Profile" link located on the Dashboard page. However, some of you might want to remain anonymous and avoid sharing their profile to other Internet users. To do so, you must visit your profile settings page and uncheck the "Share my profile" option and you're ready to go. Also, please keep in mind that all the information you enter on your profile page can be accessible to any user unless you uncheck the special privacy option described above.
