That's One Damn Ugly PMP!

There is nothing new about the fact that the Chinese media players have gone wild recently, revealing a lot of design concepts that you wouldn't even dare to think about. This is one damn ugly PMP, which makes me wonder why on Earth it features video playback, since its screen display is one to be proud of.

This player makes no exception, as it comes hidden in a hard plastic body, revealing a design line that reminds us very much of the karaoke devices for kids. For reasons unknown, the player was dubbed T&F-17K. Still, the device's name is nothing awkward compared to the one of the actual makers, which happen to be called Schenzhen Tongfang.

When it comes to the media player's capabilities, the specs list mention something the music file compatibility for file formats like MP1, MP2, MP3, WMA, WMV, ASF and WAV files. Besides playing music, the PMP can also perform some voice recording in WAV and ACT formats. Extra specs are poor though, as it only comes with an integrated FM radio functionality, while the file transfer interface is based on USB 2.0 port.

However, the internal storage capacity is said to be about 128MB and 2GB, but hey at least it is flash. as for the battery, the player's rechargeable one is said to go for about 10 hours of continuous playing. If it matters anyway, the item's dimensions are of 80.4 x 43.4 x 15 mm. There is also a multiple language option, in case you might consider learning another language from your own music device.

And if you're really interested in getting one of these peculiar media players, sadly there is no official news on pricing and availability details, at least for the time being. It looks a little bit under 100 bucks, but who knows.
