LongoMatch, a free video analysis software for sports that can be used to record, tag, review, draw, edit videos, and analyze games in real time, is now at version 0.18.9.

LongoMatch 0.18.9 has been dubbed "Tarántula" by the developers and brings a few changes and improvements. As usual, this software has been launched late in the GNOME development cycle.

Highlights of LongoMatch 0.18.9 "Tarántula":

• A deadlock has been fixed in the video conversion tool; • A Video joiner/converter has been added for HD camera files; • Timeline drawing has been fixed and can now work with live capture tags; • The application can now show subcategories without the "Quick Tag" option tagging from the plays list; • Sequence numbering has been fixed for exported playlists; • The application no longer saves the project each time a tag is created.
