If the Heathrow Airport incident did not convince people that Lindsay Lohan has serious problems in hanging on to her personal belongings, this may come as a surprise to you: the actress has the attention span of a five year old and that costs her a lot of money, as she learned on Sunday.
Last weekend, Lindsay was supposed to go to host the World Music Awards in London and, wanting to outshine the competition, she went to Cartier and asked them to lend her a nice bracelet. Being such a big celebrity, it's no wonder that the jeweler gave her the bracelet without thinking twice about whether she is able to hold on to it.
After the party that followed the ceremony, Lindsay naturally forgot to return the item. Days went by and, still, she did not return it, so a representative from Cartier went to her hotel room to retrieve it. 'Lindsay had been loaned the jewelry in good faith for her presenting job at the World Music Awards. The plan was always for her to return the bracelet after, which seemed to have slipped her mind', Britain's 'The Sun' writes.
A source told the newspaper that the air-headed actress began turning her room at the Sanderson Hotel upside down, employing in her desperate quest both the staff from the hotel and her own security guards. All efforts were in vain: the bracelet wasn't found and she had to pay for it out of her own pocket. Various sources say that the Cartier item was estimated at almost $40,000.
