Logitech announced today that it releases the new generation of mice for notebooks based on the Bluetooth technology, and called the Logitech V470 Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks. Among the huge number of mice and other pointing devices, Logitech designed and manufactured mice always came at the top or very near the top.
The Logitech
V470 Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks allows the users operating computers that have the Bluetooth technology integrated directly to connect the mouse without the need of a secondary external receiver. Notebooks running Microsoft's Windows Vista or XP alongside those running a newer Linux distribution, just like MacBook computers can all support the new Bluetooth mouse from Logitech, as long as an internal or external Bluetooth receiver is installed and enabled.
Besides the Bluetooth 1.2 wireless technology and the laser tracking system that outperforms optical mice delivering smoother cursor control on almost every surface, the Logitech V470 features a Side-to-Side Scrolling Plus Zoom function that can by used to instantly zoom in or out or, for rapid scrolling both horizontally or vertically with ease. The combined scrolling and zoom function makes it easier than before for users to manipulate big images or spreadsheet programs. While not specifically designed for gaming, the V470 mouse's ergonomic form and laser tracking system delivers a smooth operating sensation for all kinds of computer related tasks.
As the V470 implements some power saving technologies, it can use a simple battery for up to four months and as it comes with a power switch, meaning that more energy savings can be achieved. In order to eliminate surprises, when a battery is depleted and there is no spare one, a battery life indicator light is provided alongside a protective pouch that is used to secure and protect the mouse during travels and between usage periods.
