Logitech's M560 mouse was previewed before, but the peripheral is only now making its appearance in stores.

Why is it important, you may ask? The same reason that it is being promoted as a Windows 8 mouse: the button located behind the scroll wheel.

That's right, this is a mouse that has an integrated Windows 8 menu button. It can call up the App bar, Charms Bar, Desktop and Start Screen. Much like the Windows logo key does, on a keyboard.

There are two extra thumb buttons too, which can switch between the traditional Windows desktop and the new full screen Windows 8 interface. User-assigned functions can be set too though.

Black or gray, the ambidextrous Logitech M560 mouse should be available for sale at a price of $40 / €30.
