Some companies go as far as to copy Apple’s signature packaging

Fox News Channel anchor Clayton Morris has tweeted an image that should pique the interest of those following Apple’s patent litigations in the news.

The device you see being unboxed in the image above can be anything from a laptop to a bathroom scale, but that’s really not the point here. The point is the packaging. It looks exactly like those commissioned by Apple in Cupertino, California for its iPhones, iPads, and MacBook laptops.

Just when we though the world had seen all the design ripoffs, here comes Logitech shamelessly copying Apple’s packaging techniques and, as far as we can tell from this image, the materials too. Even the translucent film covering the device is Apple’s signature.

Granted, the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover (seemingly the product depicted in the image above) is made for the Apple iPad.
