It’s been a long wait, but owners of the Logitech Revue have now started to finally get the Google TV 2.0 update, adding a whole bunch of new cool features including Android Market access.

Promised initially back in October, the Android 3.1 (aka Honeycomb) update is a huge improvement for Google’s TV platform which was previously criticized for its confusing interface and inconsistent search system.

The new version however promises to fix these issues and adds a Quick Search Box to quickly query for TV content, online video, apps, bookmarks and regular web results.

Another addition, as SlashGear reveals, is the TV & Movies app that brings over 80,000 titles from cable, Netflix, Amazon and YouTube to Logitech’s Revue.

The Google TV 2.0 update will be pushed automatically to all Revue set-top boxes that have a working Internet connection.
