With the onset of summer, people who own laptops, especially those whose screens are less affected by the phenomenon of losing all visibility under sunlight, might be faced with heat concerns, so Logitech, understandably, acted to make up for the risks.

Logitech is a well known worldwide supplier of PC peripherals and accessories, being the maker of even devices that sometimes go for years without becoming outdated.

Just recently, a mouse that had almost reached a decade of existence finally got upgraded to a new version, although this is not what Logitech's latest move consisted of.

While it is keeping its eyes and ears on the peripheral segment, the outfit also seems to have developed something for notebook owners.

More specifically, Logitech created the Cooling Pad N200, whose rather self-explanatory name more or less exposes its identity as notebook coller.

When making a mobile computer, PC developers make sure it is fully capable of running on its own without reaching critical temperatures.

Still, the heat of the underside may be uncomfortable for users' laps, and the hot season could pose extra problems.

The Cooling Pad N200 is just one of the many cooling stands on the market, or will be once it finally starts selling worldwide.

Wile it is already shipping in Singapore, it is only up for pre-order in Europe, for the price of 30.80 Euro.

For those that want specifics, the stand is lightweight, slim and has a grill on top, plus a padded base with air-mesh fabric.

Finally, a tilted fan with 2-level speed control handles the act of heat dispersion, its power being provided via a hidden USB connector.

In other words, thanks to the 2 fan speed settings, users will be able to have the cooling done almost completely silently, so they won't have to worry about background noise that much.
