The Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 3200 Laser is considered by Windows Vista program manager, Nick White, another example of how hardware is adapting to Microsoft operating system's functionality.
On the Windows Vista Team Blog, White described the wireless keyboard/mouse combo from Logitech designed with Vista compatibility in mind. Logitech's set of computer peripherals includes various one-touch command buttons spread between the communication and media panels on the keyboard.
The keyboard is configured with a button designed to access and list Vista's opened applications and windows, enhancing the navigation features by permitting the user to switch among them. Furthermore, Logitech stated that the keyboard is compatible with the Flip3D option implemented in Windows Vista. "The MX 3200 Laser's keyboard has a button that will invoke Windows Vista's Flip 3D function, allowing users to easily browse through open applications and find what they need quite fast," wrote Nick White.
Logitech has announced that the Cordless Desktop MX 3200 Laser will be available to the public for $99.99 starting in the US in October, while European customers will be able to acquire the peripherals beginning with December.
