A keyboard and two wireless devices on their way

With Razer and Cooler Master already addressing the needs of hardcore gamers, it was only a matter of time until companies that actually focus on this specific segment made their move. Logitech was bound to act sooner or later, and appears to have decided on sooner. In fact, it even came out in force, unveiling not just one, but three products that promise to substantially enhance the entertainment and convenience elements. One of them is the G510 keyboard, whereas the other two are the G700 wireless mouse and the G930 wireless headset.

The G700 gaming mouse measures 126 (L) x 80 (W) x 46 (H) mm and will need just one AA battery in order to be able to function free of the hassle of cables. This substantially increases users' freedom of movement. Additionally, there is a dual-mode scroll wheel on it, as well as 13 programmable buttons and on-board memory for the setting up of profiles.

The other wireless product is the G930 headset, which delivers 7.1 channel surround sound with Dolby technology over a distance of up to 40 feet. It is equipped with a memory-foam lined headband and plush ear cups, as well as noise-canceling microphone and three programmable G-keys, which allow owners to control voice, chat and music with a single touch.

Both wireless electronics are scheduled to reach stores sometime this month and will be priced at $99.99 and $160, respectively. The third device that will eventually show up is the G510 keyboard.

Unlike its siblings, this peripheral does not communicate remotely, settling for an USB connection instead. It has a 2ms report rate, a monochrome 'GamePanel' LCD screen, customizable backlighting and a game/desktop mode switch that can disable Windows keys when playing. Finally, the product has 18 programmable G-keys of its own and will only reach market in September, priced at $120.
