Dubbed LBD-PME6U3V, LBD-PME6U3LBK and LBD-PME6U3MSV, they can be colored black, silver or red and are essentially the same, except for the software they are bundled with.
In that order, they get the TotalMediaExtreme 2 Blu-ray authoring program, a lighter version of that same software and, finally, the ROXIO Toast 11 Titanium.
That said, Blu-ray disks can be written at up to 6X, with the USB 3.0 interface maintaining the link to the PC and providing the necessary energy.
As for the design, the shell is made of rugged, brushed aluminum.
The prices range from 9,555 JPY ($117 / 90 Euro) to 21,525 JPY ($265 / 202 Euro). No clue when, if ever, areas outside Japan will get it, though.
