Believe it or not, more and more hardware companies are making waves by selling all sorts of computers powered by a GNU/Linux distribution, such as Ubuntu, which is the world's most popular free operating system.

Today we have the great pleasure of introducing Logic Supply, an American company specialized in designing and manufacturing rugged, tiny computers specifically engineered for unrelenting industrial environments.

At the moment of writing this article, Logic Supply has a special page on their online store, which is available for many markets, including US, United Kingdom, Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Holland, Belgium, and other EU countries, for Ubuntu Linux computers.

"Ideal for embedded applications, we offer a variety of computers optimized for Ubuntu Linux. Ubuntu's large community of users and developers allow virtually limitless customization on a stable, powerful platform," reads the respective web page.

Five different computers running Ubuntu are now available

Logic Supply sells five different computers powered by Ubuntu, the Commercial Intel Celeron Mini-ITX, Industrial Intel Bay Trail NUC, Industrial Intel Broadwell Compact Fanless, Industrial Intel Haswell i5 Thin Mini-ITX, and Commercial Intel Core Computer with Expansion.

As you can notice, all Ubuntu computers mentioned above are powered by an Intel process, which varies from the Celeron series to the most advanced Haswell or Bay Trail ones. Best of all, the company mentions the fact that all those tiny computers feature Ubuntu Linux for everyday computing.

The Ubuntu Linux computers sold by Logic Supply are fully customizable, so you will be able to add as much RAM (system memory) as you need, or a high capacity storage drive. All the aforementioned computers are available in stock and can be purchased right now from the company's website. Prices vary between €324 ($360) and €700 ($785) including VAT, depending on the specifications of each computer.

Update: We were contacted by Logic Supply to modify the article by stating that the company is based in America. Also, we were informed by Logic Supply that almost all of their computers are compatible with Linux.
