The computer is powered by an Octa-Core processor

Logic Supply, a renowned industrial and embedded computer manufacturer, which you might remember from an article we wrote last week about how the company sells Ubuntu-powered industrial and embedded systems, has recently announced that they will release a new series of ventless and fanless PCs with unmatched mix of performance, reliability, and I/O.

Powered by Logic Supply’s first Octa-Core system, the brand-new ML600 series of computers has been engineered from the ground up to be heavily used as commercial servers for digital surveillance, automation applications, industrial control, as well as data acquisition. As expected, the ML600 industrial computer systems are compatible with Linux kernel-based operating systems.

"Logic Supply’s goal is to offer our clients the ideal system to fit their needs," says Logan Cooke, logic supply product manager. "While there are other systems on the market that may offer a certain number of COM ports, or i7 processing, or fanless cooling, or a ventless chassis, there was nothing available that combined all of these features into one system. With each of the ML600 systems we wanted to offer a computer that would offer users a unique combination of capabilities and connectivity."

Three models will be launched for the new ML600 series

Logic Supply promises to deliver no less than three different models for the ML600 series of fanless and ventless industrial computer systems, ML600G-10, ML600G-30, and ML600G-50. All of them have been optimized for passive heat distribution and are powered by Intel Core i7 processors that don't require a cooling fan, in order to eliminate any possible noise.

While ML600G-10 is designed for high-performance data server apps, the ML600G-30 and ML600G-50 models are targeted at storage-sensitive commercial apps. Each unit comes with different hardware components that can be, of course, customized to your liking. At the moment, Logic Supply provides only a preview of the ML600 series or industrial computers, but you can stay in touch with product updates at http://www.logicsupply.com/ml600.
