Twisted Pixel has confirmed that its long-in-development LocoCycle game is going to appear not just on the Xbox 360 but also on the Xbox One next-gen console.

LocoCycle was revealed to the world last year at E3 2012 and, since then, the team at Twisted Pixel has been silent about the project.

Now, the studio has confirmed that the game will not only appear as a downloadable experience on the Xbox 360, but that it's also going to be released alongside the Xbox One next-gen console.

The new version of the game will run at a full HD resolution of 1080p and at 60 frames per second, while boasting different graphical improvements, according to the developer's website.

No other concrete details have been shared, but an early version of LocoCycle will be playable at Microsoft's E3 2013 booth at E3 2013 next week.

Until then, check out the gameplay video above.
