LockLauncher 2.0 is available in the BigBoss repository on Cydia with full support for iPhone 5 and iOS 6. The jailbreak tweak enables users to launch apps from the iOS lock screen.

Apple’s iOS operating system doesn’t enable users to launch any application until they slide to unlock the handset to reveal the springboard. Some want more flexibility with their iPhones, which is where LockLauncher comes in.

A $2/€1.7 tweak, LockLauncher lets you select any application and place it on your lock screen for quicker access. Version 2.0 has been released to add compatibility with iOS 6 and iPhone 6.

Search for LockLauncher in the BigBoss Cydia repo to find and download it. You’ll also need a jailbroken handset and, if you’re on iOS 6.1.3, you’re out of luck. There’s no jailbreak for that iOS version available (yet).
