Tourists in Magnetic Island, Australia, believe that they have spotted something very similar to the Lock Ness monster.

However, this is the only photo of the beast, and it has been taken from 600 feet (182 meters) away.

David “Crusty” Herron, capturing the monster on tape, mentions it moving upwards and downwards. Other visitors pointed out that it looked like the mythical monster in Scotland.

“I've never seen anything like it - it could be anything. We are all wanting to know what it is,” Herron says.

According to the Huffington Post, Australian cryptozoologist Rex Gilroy disagrees, and explains that the “creature” is probably not an animal at all.

He believes that it is the hull of a sunken dragon boat. One vessel sunk near the neighboring city of Townsville this month.
