The online marketing company Lobster Web Design has launched
a website called mobileffon.com, which offers Welsh-themed content for mobile phones.

The website targets Welsh speaking mobile owners, to whom it offers caricatures of Welsh rugby players provided by Team Wales and design company OddGods, Celtic artworks made by the Canadian artist Cari Buziak and photos of Wales from fotoLibra image gallery.

Russell Davies, managing director of Lobster Web Design, stated: "I noticed that, even though there are a lot of companies supplying mobile phone content, it was mostly very general and aimed at a wide spectrum of customers. Mostly, the only content they have that is related to Wales or the Welsh is very stereotyped so the idea was to see if it was feasible to create Welsh-themed content for mobile phones."

Lobster Web Design plans to extend the existing collection of images and ringtones and is looking for artists interested to put their work on the website. Also, an agreement with Mobileshop.com will allow mobileffon.com to sell mobile phones and contracts online.
