Those who want to give it a try must order it 2 weeks in advance

Here is a piece of news foodies will surely love and adore: not too long ago, the Tokyo Dog food truck in Seattle, Washington, US, introduced the world to a mouth-watering hot dog priced at $169 (a little over €128).

The hot dog, a photo of which is available next to this article, is nothing like the ones folks usually eat while watching baseball games. In fact, I'm starting to doubt it should even be called by this name.

Thus, the Huffington Post tells us that this dish is made with smoked cheese bratwurst, maitake mushrooms, foie gras, butter teriyaki grilled onions, wagyu beef, caviar, shaved black truffles, and Japanese mayonnaise, all served in a brioche bun.

Since most of these ingredients are not exactly easy to come by, those who want to give this outrageous snack a try must order it two weeks in advance, the same source informs. Not exactly fast food, but at least word has it that the wait is well worth it.

Information shared with the public says that, on the day when Seattle food truck Tokyo Dog introduced the world to this hot dog, dubbed the Juuni Ban, it sold five of them. The money was donated to the Red Cross.

Presently, the folks behind Guinness World Records consider the Juuni Ban the world's most expensive commercially available hot dog.
