“Liz & Dick” Teaser Trailer Is Here

Just hours after the release of the official poster for Lifetime’s Elizabeth Taylor biopic “Liz & Dick” comes the first official teaser trailer. Check it out in full above.

Starring Lindsay Lohan as Dame Elizabeth Taylor and Grant Bowler, who plays Richard Burton, the love of her life, the biopic will focus mostly on their passionate, fiery and sometimes downright violent romance.

The teaser trailer also focuses on that, though it does so with certain theatricality and made-for-TV cheapness quality which, for something billed “the TV event of the year” comes across as underwhelming.

“Liz & Dick” will premiere in November and, hopefully, kickstart Lindsay’s acting career. Based on that teaser alone, skeptics are not convinced that it’ll happen.
