Live Wallpaper Album Art Available for Android

A new appealing application is currently available for download from the Android Market for the owners of a Nexus One device, namely the Live Wallpaper Album Art solution. Brought into the wild only about a week ago, the application has already enjoyed two version updates, the last of which came in with a series of bug fixes and more. In addition to being available from the software portal, the solution is also available for beta testers, as its developers are looking to improve its capabilities.

The features list of the new Live Wallpaper Album Art application for Android includes:

- Shuffle feature
- Compatible with LauncherPro
- Very fast (approx 0.5 seconds on first load)
- Smooth scrolling between screens
- Periodically changes individual covers
- Opaque setting to make pale text easier to read.

“Have spent a bit more time working on Live Wallpapers, and the newest one pulls your album art and shows it on the home screen, a bit like the screensaver OS X comes with. It’s still early days but all seems to work fine, and I’m looking for a few beta testers who’d be willing to give it a shot before I release it onto the Market. Send me a private message if you’re interested – beta testers will get a free copy of the app once it’s published to the Market and first dibs on new features,” XDA-Developers forum member David Horn states in a recent post.

According to him, the improvements already brought to the software solution were possible courtesy of the great feed-back he received from the team of beta testers. Those who are interested in trying out a new solution, in addition to what their handsets have as default, can also download a free demo of the applications. Moreover, the developer announced that, in case one encounters a problem with the demo and provides helpful feed back, one would get a free copy of the application.
