Live TV, a very popular choice for Windows 8 users who wish to watch TV in their Metro UI, has received a major update that brings both bug fixes and new options.

In addition to a new design that is supposed to make the app a bit more user-friendly, this new build also packs digital video recording options and support for new languages.

Search and navigation improvements have also been introduced, while Windows 8 integration has been improved with pin channel to Start Screen settings compatible with all versions of Microsoft’s new OS.

“You can watch your local channels or select from our huge line-up of channels from the US, Europe, Latin America and Asia. Watch live Sports, News, Lifestyle, Movies, Shopping, Kids and more,” the product description reads.
