Less eccentric than the first Serenata phone

Samsung has just launched a special site for announcing the future release of a new Bang&Olufsen branded mobile phone. It looks like the long leaked Samsung F310 is on its way and some new leaked images have appeared to offer a first glimpse at the way this device will really look.

The new images are more revealing than the previous one and the fact that they are real and not computer edited surely makes a difference. The new Bang & Olufsen phone will be a slider one, with some elegant shapes that are by far not out of the ordinary when compared to the first Serenata B&O mobile phone.

In fact, there are so many slider phones out there that this device looks rather mainstream and not as shocking as people might have expected. The first Serenata phone set a mark of eccentricity on this line of devices and people were expecting to see just the same with the second phone release too.

The F310 has a huge navigation wheel similar to that found on the iPods, which shows that this handset will be a music phone as well. The small sizes of its display screen might be disappointing to many people, but there are high chances that this will be more of a middle ranged device, so expectations should not be very high. The first Serenata phone featured some low capabilities and the same might go for the second one as well.

Samsung F310 will have some fairly large sizes, at 109.5 ? 63 ? 19.7 mm making it lose considerable points even at its design. In fact, there is nothing that looks out of the ordinary or even worth the wait about this device, unless Samsung brings out some never before mentioned specifications. Other than that, the new Bang&Olufsen phone looks plain and not the least impressive. Maybe 18 days from now, on its release, Samsung will show us something better than that.
