Beside the MyTile 10B Pro eBook reader we've talked about earlier this week, Italian company Onda also brought to MWC 2011 a couple of more such interesting products, including here the MyTile 10C model, that we'll present as follows.

While the 10C is quite close to the 10B Pro model in terms of design, there are certainly quite a few differences separating the two, one of the most striking ones being related to the control solution of choice (the 10C's buttons are physical, placed on the eBook reader's plastic case, rather than on the display itself).

The MyTile 10C eReader comes equipped with a 9.7-inch color eInk display featuring 800 x 600 pixels resolution, accompanied by 512MB of SDRAM memory and 4GB of EMMC memory, used for storing eBooks and other types of files.

And since we've reached this particular topic, it's also interesting to point out that the MyTile 10C eBook reader offers a fairly extensive level of file compatibility, letting users read eBooks in PDF or ePub formats (Adobe DRM supported in the last case), view photos in GIF, PNG, JPG and BMP formats, but also listen to music in MP3 and AAC formats.

The device is powered by a 2280 mAh rechargeable Li-Ion battery pack that supports more than 10,000 page turns per single charge (carried out via the USB interface) and also offers a stereo jack connector and a built-in 1W speakers, used for audio playback.

Last, but certainly not least, it's interesting to mention that the MyTile 10C also offers 3G and Wi-Fi support as options available separately, which is not necessarily what we'd call a competitive strategy, especially taking into account the features provided by some of the best-known readers on the market, such as the Kindle, Nook, etc.

While no precise pricing and availability details for the Onda MyTile 10C eBook reader has been provided thus far, it seems that we should expect them to hit the market (at least in Italy and the rest of Europe) over the next couple of months, either in standalone mode or via various partnerships with telcos.
