Alongside its curved Galaxy S6 Edge variant

HTC has already announced its new flagship smartphone for this year, the One M9, now all eyes are aimed at Samsung Unpacked 2015 event where the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are expected to go official.

Considering the long list of leaked photos and documentation about Galaxy S6's specs sheet, we feel like we already know everything there is to know about the smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy S6 will be much different from most other smartphones in the series because of the premium material it will make use of and the slight redesign.

This is something many fans have been complaining about in the last couple of years, so hopefully, Samsung has listened and the Galaxy S6 will be a true premium device.

We will be live blogging the Unpacked 2015 event and will watch along with the whole world the unveiling of what could be one of the best smartphones for this year, so stay with us.

Just when I was about to say JK Shin speaks better English than he did last year, he says he doesn't speak English too well because his main language is "engineering."

JK Shin shows us the Galaxy S6 Edge, "the best smartphone in the world with the best features that no other smartphone can match."

Samsung Pay is announced with Galaxy S6. "Samsung has an important role in the advancement of technology and innovation," says JK Shin.

Both Samsung Galaxy S6 models will feature native wireless charging technology, but we knew that from previous rumors.

Both Galaxy S6 will be available in Gold Platinum, White Pearl and Black Sapphire. The smartphones feature Corning Gorilla Glass 4 on the front and back and metal frames, which are 15% tougher than metal used in other smartphones.

There you go, the "bend" joke. Younghee Lee, Samsung marketing chief, on the stage says here language might not be "engineering" but she knows that the Galaxy S6 will surely not bend.

New design for the TouchWiz UI in Galaxy S6 smartphones. The camera app UI has been redesigned so that all settings are quick to access without the need to scroll.

Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphones have the best displays in the world. The 5.1-inch QUAD HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) displays support 577ppi (pixel per inch).

They have the fastest charging battery in the industry: 10 minutes for up to 4 hours of use. From 0 to 100, it takes half the time to charge the battery than the iPhone 6.

The Exynos chipset inside the Galaxy S6 smartphones is much faster than the previous models because it was built using 14nm technology. It's also less power hungry, according to Samsung.

The 3GB of RAM powering Samsung's flagship smartphones are DDR4 not DDR3, as most of other handsets on the market.

Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge will be available for purchase starting April 10 in 20 countries. No word on pricing options yet, but we know it will be available in three variants: 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.
