At only 24 hours after the Live 8 concert ended, pirated DVD's have already popped on Internet auction site eBay, with bidding price of 16.99 pounds each by Tuesday. UK record industry trade association the BPI (British Phonographic Industry) says it has asked eBay to pull off all the unauthorized and illegal auctions regarding Live 8 concerts. BPI Director of Anti-Piracy David Martin said: "There are too many people out there who believe music is for stealing, regardless of the wishes of artists and the people who invest in them. Sadly we are not at all surprised by this incident." eBay declared today that they already started to remove the illegal DVD copies. "The unauthorized copies of Live 8 DVDs we have been told about have been taken down, because the sale of fake items is not permitted on eBay.co.uk," the site said in a statement. For the moment, the eBay security it's not one of the highest. If the seller is caught giving to auction illegally items for three times, his account is suspended, but nothing prevents them from creating another account with the same credit card details.
