Liv Tyler’s Mother Slams Dina Lohan: What She’s Doing to Lindsay Is Disgusting

Dina Lohan has often been accused of being a bad influence on her own children, especially Lindsay, who is now more famous for her antics and legal problems than an acting career, but never as bitterly as Bebe Buell does in a recent interview.

Speaking with Steppin’ Out (quotes via Gawker), Bebe, Liv Tyler’s mother and manager (momager), says she could help Lindsay win an Oscar in no more than 2 years, assuming she left Dina’s side and came to live with her.

As she sees it, Dina is the only one responsible for the way things are in Lindsay’s life, because she doesn’t know when to stop being a manager and start acting like a concerned parent instead.

“Dina Lohan’s relationship with her daughter Lindsay disturbs me. I don’t see a mother and a daughter there,” she says, blaming Dina for Lindsay’s problems because she tries too hard to act like a friend instead of a mother.

For instance, Dina shouldn’t go out partying with Lindsay, especially now that she’s said to be recuperating from alcohol addiction.

Boundaries must be set and respected, Bebe believes.

“If my baby girl got that screwed up I would NOT allow to make her own decisions. I’m sorry! Anybody can think what they want. But I would abduct my child and I would make sure that I didn’t leave her side until she didn’t have those problems anymore,” she says.

“She should back off. Lindsay is the one with the talent. She’s the star. But she also has to be responsible for her own actions. Her mother needs to start being a mother and not yes her to death,” Bebe continues.

She believes Lindsay has real talent but she’s wasting it because she’s surrounded by all the wrong people, including her own mother, who not only does not keep her from trouble but actually seems to be encouraging her.
