LittleBigPlanet 2, the stylized platformer with an emphasis on user generated content, now has complete support for Sony's PlayStation Move, while its price has been lowered to $39.99 in North America.

LittleBigPlanet 2 improved on many aspects of its popular predecessor, introducing all sorts of brand new tools with which players can forge their own levels, adventures and experiences.

Now, ahead of the release of the special PlayStation Move Pack, the game has been patched in order to support the motion controls for the PlayStation 3 in its current levels.

"Earlier this week, many of you downloaded the latest free update for LBP2," its developer, Media Molecule revealed, "but did you know you can now control your Sackboy with a Move controller in one hand and a Navigation controller in another?"

The special PlayStation Move pack for LittleBigPlanet 2 is going to be released on September 13, and is designed to take advantage of the unique motion controls, while delivering a whole new story to players, called The Rise of the Cakeling, with 14 new levels (5 levels, 7 mini games and 2 cutscenes).

A huge variety of other resources are included, like stickers, decorations, materials or songs, not to mention 11 brand new trophies.

Until the Move pack for the game is released next week, Media Molecule has also revealed that the new recommended price for LittleBigPlanet 2 is $39.99.

"Forgive us for sounding like a late-night infomercial, but…now for an amazing low price of $39.99 (at participating retailers) you can own LittleBigPlanet 2, and experience a whole new world that millions of people love, plus discover over 5.2 million user-generated games! All with Sackboy at your side!"

LittleBigPlanet 2 is exclusive to the PlayStation 3, while a version was already made for the PlayStation Portable, and an all-new one is being prepared for the PlayStation Vita.
