LittleBigPlanet 2 is set to receive quite a lot of downloadable content this month, as Media Molecule, its developer, is going to release plenty of themed items, including a very special Final Fantasy VII pack, and others, based on games like Infamous 2 or Killzone 3.

LittleBigPlanet 2 was launched at the beginning of the year, exclusively for the PlayStation 3, and once again amazed players with the variety of options and tools that they can use to create their own levels and adventures.

Now, in order to further boost the creative opportunities of the users, Media Molecule is set to deploy several downloadable content packs this month, based on a variety of games.

First up is the Final Fantasy VII costume pack, which allows you to dress up your SackBoy or SackGirl as characters from the iconic role-playing game from Square Enix.

The whole pack arrives on July 13, costs $5.99, and brings costumes based on Cloud, Tifa, Aeris, Sephiroth, as well as a bonus one on Vincent. If you want to buy them separately, each costs $1.99, and you'll miss out on the extra Vincent costume.

Also on July 13, players can get the special Infamous 2 DLC pack for $2.99, which includes special looks based on the game's protagonist, Cole McGrath, either the good or the bad varieties, as well as plenty of stickers to decorate your Infamous-themed levels.

On July 20, a mini DLC pack based on Killzone 3 will be released, containing two costumers based on Rico and a Hazmat Trooper, and plenty of stickers, all for $2.99.

A bigger DLC inspired from the hit animated Toy Story movies will also be released later this month, complete with costumes, stickers and even levels made by the developers at Media Molecule.

After all this content, the UK-based studio is set to deploy a special add-on designed to work with the PlayStation Move motion controller, but a concrete launch date has yet to be revealed for it.
