Little Mix wrote history over the weekend on X Factor UK, when they broke the “curse” and they became the first girl group to win the much coveted prize. Today, their first single is out.

Fans of the show know that finalists choose a song to perform on the final and that it also gets the studio treatment, in case the act wins.

At that moment, the song becomes the “winner's song” and gets wide release as a single.

For Little Mix, said choice song was Damien Rice’s inspirational “Cannonball.” It's now out and you can check out the studio version above, to see if you like it better than the live version.

For some, there's no longer any doubt that the girls, Jesy, Jade, Leigh-Ann, and Perrie, are set for greatness.

If their live performance didn't convince you yet of it (for some reason or another), perhaps their debut single will.

Check it out.
