Developer Media Molecule has announced that there are now 7 million levels available for its create-and-play title, Little Big Planet, four years after the game has first been launched on the PlayStation 3.
The gigantic figure includes all the titles in the series that have been launched on the home console, as well as those who are offered on the PlayStation Portable handheld.
It’s interesting to note that despite the fact that the series was first introduced four years ago, dedicate level makers do not seem to be slowing down, with more than 37,000 levels created during last week.
Media Molecule has made it easy for players to find the best content in both core Little Big Planet titles via a search function that is packed with filters and rating options.
Little Big Planet Karting is set to be launched on PlayStation devices during this year.
Media Molecule is at the moment in the Research & Development stage of a new game project that’s not linked to its most famous franchise.
