The perfect replacement for a Bluetooth headset

Thanks to Lite-On, a Taiwanese company that was up until now only known for the PC hardware it manufactures, people will be able to talk handsfree without having to use a Bluetooth headset.

Because some people think that wearing Bluetooth headsets is inconvenient, Lite-On is providing the BSK-100, a Bluetooth speaker phone that features a back clip and can be easily worn on one's clothes (instead of one's ear).

The BSK-100 supports six different levels of audio volume for both Headset mode and Stereo Headset mode, while the volume of the earphone is somewhat lower than the one of the loud speaker.

When the user wants to answer a call this can be done directly from the BSK-100 by simply pressing the "Talk" button for less than 1 second.

The call can also be received automatically, without having to press any buttons, if the cell phone that is linked to the Bluetooth speaker phone has auto-answering support.

First off, the BSK-100 is convenient because it makes driving while talking on the phone safer and easier. Also, as mentioned before, many people hate to wear Bluetooth headsets that can be very inconvenient at times.

Aside from that, the design of Lite-On's BSK-100 isn't that bad either. The Bluetooth speaker phone even participated at the iF product design awards 2007, in the Consumer Electronics / Telecommunications category. While it seems to be small and easy to use, there is no information regarding the price of this little device so far.
