The AppFest coding marathon grouped together more than 2,500 developers across India, and besides the opportunity to witness a world record attempt, those who attended the show also got the chance to listen to a pretty catchy song.

It’s the official AppFest anthem and brings in the spotlight the three major things that define the developer conference: food, drinks and coding.

In the end, Microsoft managed to make it into the Guinness Book of World Records, as it set a world record for the Most Participants in a Software Development Marathon in One Location, with a total of 2,567 developers creating Windows 8 apps for 18 hours in a row.

With all these being said, enjoy listening to this song, but try to ignore the guy in front of the camera, who looks so excited that he keeps clapping his hands for about a minute. Now excuse us, we’re in app mode.
